I'm running into the problem where I need to create a difference chart where the x-axis is non numeric. Something like the DiffferenceChartDemo1 that would work with a CategoryDataset.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Has anyone implemented a CategoryDifferenceRenderer that they would like to share?
