OHLC edit shape

Hello, im a new member and first wanted to say how much I enjoy using JFree charts.
I am currently making a dynamic OHLC chart which updates every 2 minutes, as the chart has quite a lot of updates I am trying to edit the OHLC shape to make the open and close lines a little smaller as they are kind of getting mashed together.
Could anyone point me in the right direction.

You will have to extend HighLowRenderer and implement the functionality you require.
