Eastwood licensing

Hello,

Are there any considerations for a commercial-friendly Eastwood license? ( I am not against paying anything for such a license). Just curious - but why it is GPL when JFreeChart is LGPL?

Thanks.

Hi Bill,

The client that helped fund the initial development requested the licence. They've since indicated that it will be OK to use a more permissive open source licence, so I'm looking at that now.

Eastwood 1.1.0 is available today, and uses the same licence as JFreeChart (GNU LGPL 2.1 or later).
