Move Bubbles to Front

Greetings,

I have implemented a bubble chart that can become crowded. I'd like to be able to click on a legend item and have the appropriate bubbles move to the front. The only way I can think of is to re-order the series in my XYZDataset. Then I have to worry about the color of the bubbles changing. Is there a way to tell the bubble chart to move a series to the front?
