Stability of the released version

Post by tushartdk » Thu Oct 30, 2014 3:37 pm

I am in the process of evaluating JFreeChart software for my company use and would like to know how stable current release is?
I would also like to know any security issues that may be present with JFreeChart software.

JFreeChart 1.0.x is quite stable. We try not to break the API and in the few cases where we do it has usually been very minor. Big API changes are pushed to the JFreeChart-FSE repo at GitHub - this will become JFreeChart 2 one day.

I'm not aware of any security issues with JFreeChart. There were two issues reported some (more than 5) years ago, but those were fixed. You can probably find the details with your favourite search engine.
