Future State Edition

Post by MarkLove777 » Thu Jan 05, 2017 3:13 pm

I am trying to utilize some of the mouse selection capabilities of the Future State Edition. The problem is, when I put that Jar onto my build path, most of the other JFreeChart stuff breaks. Does anyone have a jar already created that has incorporated the new selection capabilities that won't break the other stuff?

Hi Mark,

The Future State Edition deliberately breaks the existing JFreeChart API so that we can eventually have a JFreeChart 2 with a better API than JFreeChart 1. I'm not aware of anyone having merged just the selection code back into JFreeChart 1...but you never know, maybe someone will reply to this thread and say they did exactly that already.
