Does the current JFreeChart implementation support automatic drawing of the horizontal and/or vertical axis lines? ie. the cross hairs.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Is it where you draw a horizontal line and a vertical line through the chart when the user clicks with the mouse? I've seen this on some charts, but JFreeChart can't do it (yet).

Sorry, I should've phrased it better.
I was looking at drawing heavy/thick/bold lines for the origin at (0, 0).
