ActiveLabels

Hi folks,

I do not any function that supports "ActiveLabels" - i.e. the ability to add a hyperlink to points on a chart? Is this possible and I am just just not finding it in the samples or JavaDoc?

This is a function that I currently use quite heavily.

Hi Ron,

You can't do it in the current release. Some changes that I am adding for the next release (to support tooltips, crosshairs and zooming - all based on code contributed by others) will make it easier to implement the feature you ask for.

Before I get to version 1.0.0 I'd like to have JFreeChartPanel support double-clicking on charts, and allow developers to hook their own code in to respond to the event...but I have some other things I want to work on first.

OK, I understand. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something in the doc. I never pondered it until just now, I have "ActiveLabels" in Applets, but I am really looking for that function in a servlet generated PNG or JPEG and I would assume that truly complicates the effort. Just talking out loud...

All in all, a very nice package.
