Thanks Thomas.

An alternative is if the company will support a porting project then maybe we can do this. Would a port to C# be of any interest to the project?

For those setting the log level in the jfreereport.properties file, note that this property has also changed. To set to info, use:

org.jfree.base.LogLevel=Info

I.e. "base" not "report".

Great to see the progress

Dave, it's great to see the continued progress at JFree. We have been so hard at work writing an app that uses JFree that I haven't been back here for a while... and things seem to be cooking!

Keep up the great work!

Running JFree under C#

Has anyone been able to run JFree under C#? If not, does anyone have any idea on what a C#-compatible version would require in terms of porting effort?

The reason for asking is that our product now need to run on both Java and C#.

Thanks Dave. I personally would hate to not use PNG but the concern raised by the testers is that M$ is very bad at supporting PNG.

MultiCategory dataset: X-axis labels overlapping. How 2 stop

I am using a multiCategoryDataset to draw various graphs such as line, bar and pie charts. On the line charts if there are a lot of entries on the X axis, the labels overwrite each other into a black blur. How do I tell JFreeChart to skip labels if necessary to ensure that the labels are visible? As...

Chart -> right click menu -> save as How to save as JP

I know that programmatically we can save as JPG as well as PNG, but how to we enable this in the right-click menu (save as) option in chart? ATM it only allows for PNG.
