get interpolated data?

hi,
another important function for stockdata would be to get data at a specific time. i dunno if jfreechart supports this already, but if not it would be a very great addition.
if there is data for time A and time B, jfreechart draws a line between A and B. now i'd like to retrieve data at a specific time between A and B (of course it's the value of the line between A and B at a specific time).
thoughts? am i missing something?
