how to make connection in jfreedesigner

hi
plz tell me how to connect my database using jfreedesigner..
i am using mysql on windows as well as linux ...
in windows when i make a new connection its show "org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver" Check your classpath Error..
how to solve it..i hace set my classpath also but it doenot work
