hi,

My JDBC-Mysql java application and applet can only run at local lan, using dial-up and outside my local lan cannot work, java warning..

Cannot connect to MySQL server on 61.xxx.xxx.xxx:3306. Is there a MySQL server running on the machine/port you are trying to connect to? (java.net.ConnectException)

anybody met the same problem?

i think not the security issue, because i put the applet on my server--mysql and web server on the same pc..
