I try to rebuild JFreeChart and cannot find the instruction to rebuild or a makefile available. Please let me know if it is available or tell me how to rebuild it from the source.

There are instructions in the jfreechart-install.pdf file that you can download from the JFreeChart web page. There's no make file yet, but a couple of developers have sent me Ant build files and when I get a chance to learn how Ant works I'll include a build file in the distribution.
