downloading 0.9.18

is there a problem with the download address? I can download jcommon but not jfreechart-0.9.18.zip from any of the mirrors.

It is working for me. Try again, maybe SourceForge was temporarily down when you tried it before. If you still have trouble, can you describe exactly the problem you are seeing...

tried I few of the mirrors again today(http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/source ... 0.9.18.zip) still the same...I get long wait then standard "The page cannot be displayed...."error in IE with the "cannot find server or DNS error" at the bottom.

I would normally blame our proxy but the jcommon zip was fine. maybe its the size of the zip but I would have expected an error from our proxy saying so...plus I down loaded 0.9.8 no problem a couple of months ago.

Is there another way to get hold of it(maybe as two smaller zips) ?

Go to the JFreeChart home page:

http://www.jfree.org/jfreechart/index.html

In the "Download" section, the main links take you to SourceForge but there is also a link on the text "HTTP" for each one - right click on this and select "Save link target as..." or some similar option for your browser. This will let you download the JFreeChart distribution straight from jfree.org.
