should i use gantt chart or horiiizontal stacked chart?

Hi,

I am new to JFreechart and hence unaware about how to achive this.

I have some 10 colour codes .Each job will have one of these color. For example blue , red , green and so on.....

Now jobs will be produced in following sequence:

day 1 red-red-red-blue-red-blue
day 2 black-green-red-red-red
day 3 brown - red-red-blue-blue

what i want is to line up the colour bands to reflect the colour changeovers. The length of each rectangle depends on the number of consecutive jobs of the same colour.

so the y-axis should have days on it and x-axis number of jobs.

I am not sure about how to draw this chart? Whether i should use horizontal stacked chart/ ganttt chart for this.
