SVG problems

Post by Patrick Schlaepfer » Mon Mar 10, 2003 5:07 pm

Hi there
Just copy/paste example out of the PDF manual. Now it seems
that there is huge whitespace around the graphics. That's
not exactly what I want. Produced the SVG output with
batik-1.1.1 (anyone having a mirror site of apache's one, as
this site is very slow)
Anyone tried using SVG output with success?

Thanks
Pat

Hi Pat,

I'm not able to reproduce this, but in any case I've updated the SVG chapter in the documentation for the latest beta release of Batik and also the latest version of JFreeChart.

When I use the Batik viewer to look at the generated chart, it appears to be fine. There is whitespace, but it is outside the chart area (which is drawn with a width of 400 and a height of 300).

Perhaps the problem shows up in a different context?

Dave Gilbert
