No Annotation at 1.0.14 for RCP-SWT app

I am unable to get an annotation to show on any JFreeChart when built as an SWT application. Previous versions have worked fine. The procedure that I have used to build the RCP plugin for JFreeChart is given at:

The test case is also provided there (simple Pie and Bar Chart examples). These work under .13 but no annotation under .14. I am having trouble with overlapping annotation in .13 and was hoping that .14 would help - instead no annotation of any kind is visible in any chart. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Any help or clarification would be appreciated.

If you mean no labels, and the labels in the legend also do not display, I have only just begun to use this library, so I'm only using .14....but I am having this problem as well.
