Broken axis feature

Post by omricohen » Tue Apr 17, 2012 8:54 am

Hi,

I'm looking for an option to 'break' to values in the y axis.
It should be something very similar to the example shown in this thread: http://www.jfree.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22832 (in the example the feature is implemented for the x axis).

The scenario is that I have stackedbar graph with diverse values as described in this blog:
http://peltiertech.com/WordPress/broken ... cel-chart/

and the lower values are hardly shown.

Is the feature available? How can implement such a scenario?

Regards,
Omri

Hi!

To my knowledge this feature is not available in JFreeChart. But the poster of the topic you linked to seems to have an implementation that he would share. Maybe you should just post a followup to his thread. If he is still around he could provide the code (best via JFreeCharts Feature Request Tracker) and eventually it will make it's way into JFreeChart one day...

Thanks Martin.

I posted a request in 'Feature Request Tracker' and answered the old thread.

For the records: the entry in the tracker is #3518699.
I've changed the title to "Linear/Logarithmic axis feature", as "broken axis feature" sounds so buggy :)
