A method to draw a 2dbar graph from a jsp incorporated in windows Tomcat webserver works fine. The same method when invoked from a jsp(Tomcat ), unix environment crashes the page.
Can some one explain if jFree utility jar or the openware is dependent on operating system. Thanks in advance.

Not operating system dependent.
Its nicely explained in the FAQ's. It only requires u to enable the xServer for graphics java2d to be running. solutions for this problem are already provided.
