BACKGROUND ZONES IN XY CHART

Post by vasanthparimalan » Mon May 31, 2021 12:59 pm

Hi,

I am working on a zone marker to show the parameter being in a safe zone of operation.

Above and below the safe zone there will be a "needs attention zone" and "critical zone" indicating the value trend and its criticality.

Red zone - top - critical
orange zone - top - needs attention
green zone - - safe zone
orange zone - top - needs attention
Red zone - top - critical

The parameter should be within the safe zone if it crosses that action will be triggered and if it crosses needs attention another action will be triggered.

How can I achieve this? I tried interval markers but it marks a static zone with static colour.

In my need, the zones will also vary wrt to time.

Your help is much appreciated. thanks

ThermometerPlot only supports three sub-ranges, but a DatasetChangeListener can examine the value for boundary conditions.
