Used JFreeChart for bioinformatics software

Post by hotwingz » Fri Mar 10, 2006 5:45 pm

Hello All,
Just wanted to inform you that I've used the jfreechart package in a bioinformatics graphics application called aCGHViewer. It was recently published in Cancer Informatics ( http://www.la-press.com/caninfo.htm, look for aCGHViewer).

In summary, the program graphs 6000 - 50,000 points in one 'genomic view'. The program is open source and the link is mentioned in the paper.

Thanks, everyone, for your help.

Regards,
Ganesh Shankar

Hi Ganesh,

Thanks! This link seems to work for me:

Do you want me to add this to the JFreeChart home page?

Hello again,

Sure, your'e welcome to post the link on the website. Just be aware that you can download the binaries freely but must email the authors to obtain the source code.

Hope people find it helpful.
