Column Chart

Can we generate column charts with JFreeCharts?

I guess we can use Bar charts to serve the same purpose since it has the capability to color each bar in same series in a different color. Or is there a specific column chart?

There isn't a specific 'column chart' type. I've seen the term used, but I don't know the difference between a column chart and a bar chart. Is there a difference, or is it just terminology?

Column chart is like bar chart only . Like each bar series represent a specific type of type, each column in a chart is different. Since there is a feature in JFreeCharts to color each bar in a series, it serves as column chart
