Step size of Axis

Hi
How we cwn set the step size of XAxis and YAxis
it takes the interval size bydefault suppose i have set the range of XAxis as (1.0,14.0) then in the XAxis these are plotted as 1.0,2.0 3.0 4.0. .. .........14.0 I want to set the steps as 1.0 3.0 5.0 7.0 etc
Is it possible Plzzzzzz help me solve this issue
