Issue with tomcat 3.x

Hi,
My Chart application is working fine with tomcat 4.x. I am making different charts as servlets required for my application. But I have one question, can we use this applcation with tomcat 3.x. It does not work and throws Class not found exception, does it require some code change. Can somebody help me to set up JFreeChart for tomcat 3.x.
