width of bars in bar chart

Hi there!
I am working with vertical bar charts and in one scenario I am having only two series per category. In this case, the width of bars is too big.
How can I set the width of 3D bars (or normal bars), so that they look thin even if there are small no.of series/category.
Is there any supporting method?? Any suggestions will be very helpful.
