Help Compiling JFreeChart!

I just downloaded JFreeChart and even ordered the JFreeChart documentation but I'm still really confused on how to use the JFreeChart library. I can run the demo and all but I can't seem to compile all the classes so I can actually use them in a program..... I've gone into each directory and tried to compile them but I keep getting over 100 errors. I don't know what to do!!!! I've already changed my classpaths,etc.......
