i read the/your (david gilbert) "The Gnumeric File Format" tutorial.

Is there a newer version of this document available? if so, where?
Or are there other similar documentations on this subject ( discribing xls with xml/xsl).

Hi Flora,

I haven't updated the document. You might try the Open Office web site - I haven't looked at their spreadsheet format, but I've heard that it is XML based.
