DynamicDataDemo 3 in Developer's Guide

Post by android21 » Mon Jul 23, 2007 9:19 am

Dear David,
How do i upgrade this code, so that i don't need to press the button and the random data will just be plotted every 1 second automatically?

Thanks in advance.

Start a Timer somewhere that launches the code that's in the sample launched when pressing the button.

Yes. Look at the code for MemoryUsageDemo.java for a similar example.

}

It is plotting data every 0.1 secs and after a while i notice that it is going very slow, and my CPU usage keeps increasing.... I am really in need to create an application where it can at least run for like an hour.... Is it storing all the previous points plotted? How do i discard them, so to free the memory?

Thanks, alot David.
