JFreeDesigner for Web based applications

Post by kuldipshah » Tue Jan 04, 2005 5:41 pm

Does JFreeDesigner work with web based applications?

I would like to know if JFreeDesigner works with servlet/JSP web model applications? Also Can we use JSP Tag libraries of JFreeReport through designer?

Documentation for above would be highly appreaciated.

Thanks in advance.

no, JFreeReport and the designer are not really suitable for JSPs. You can create a servlet that uses JFreeReport, but as JFreeReport always creates complete documents, embedding it into a JSP would not be usefull.

The designer creates xml-report definitions, no JSP files.
