how? - complicated Gantt charts

hi, i am a jfreechart beginner; i hope someone can help me out.
is jfreechart capable of making a gantt chart similar to the one found in the link below?

i do not know how to add multiple fields (name, date, description, etc.) to the left of the y-axis of the chart.

i would appreciate any help.

You would need to write a custom axis to present that type of data.
