JDK1.4 and AreaXYItemRenderer: overlaped horiz. axis

Hi,
I'm building a chart with the AreaXYItemRenderer. The vertical axis is not including zero. Everything works fine with jdk1.3 but after updating to 1.4 the chart overlaps the horizontal axis. I have to use 1.4 so I cannot downgrade again.
