Hi,
can someone just direct me in couple of lines how to create VU-meter like chart, which chart type to use or something, anything please.

You should probably post an example of what you mean by a VU-meter. Based on what *I* think a VU-meter is, perhaps it can be handled by the experimental DialPlot class...check some of the examples.

Either the MeterPlot or the (experimental) DialPlot could be adopted to your needs.

yes, thank you people. MeterPlot solved my problem.
edit: one more question. i've looked but couldn't find. is there a way to display values on MeterPlot, not the digital one below the plot, but on the *ticks* of the plot.
edit: disregard this question, it's solved.
