Can Tick Marks be offset?

Post by Hugo » Wed Feb 12, 2003 6:28 am

Hi

Firstly thanks David for your insightful reply re. changing plot shapes for specified series.

I just have a few other questions:
1. can you space out the legend to take in most of the chart length?

2. Implementation of having both filled and just outlined shapes for plots and legend - what would be an estimated timeframe on publishing this?

3. Can you offset tick marks. i.e. the date is directly below the plot point but the tick mark is offset to the right OR dates are between the tick marks?

I ask the above because the work I am dealing with at the moment requires the graph to look as 'close' to a graph the customers get on their printed statements.

Kind Regards
Hugo

No, the only control you have over the legend at present is it's location (top, bottom, left or right).

There's no timeframe. It is a low-priority task for me, and will probably get done some time in the future when I'm working on something else in the renderer code. Or someone else may do it first...

You would need to modify the axis code to do this.
