JFreechart's License Violates Copyright
RE: JFreechart's License Violates Copyright
Hi Anonymous,
I take it you are suggesting that I have omitted to include the preamble to the licence. Can you tell me where?
JFreeChart is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public Licence (LGPL). I have reproduced this licence in the following places:
(1) In the licence-LGPL.txt file in the download. Preamble included.
(2) In the About box of the demo application. Preamble included.
(3) In the JFreeChart PDF documentation. Preamble included.
(4) On this website. Preamble included.
I take copyright very seriously, so if I have left the preamble out from any reproduction of the licence it is not intentional. Please tell me and I will correct it.
Thanks,
Dave Gilbert.

You are correct. I have left off the instructions for how other people can use the GPL/LGPL in their own programs. I will fix it.
