There was a post last month from a developer that has a site working with JFreeChart in a servlet. The link for the site is:

http://coyote.aad.gov.au/marine/servlet/DataAvailable

And the code:

http://coyote.aad.gov.au/marine/src/

Something like that would probably work for you if your server supports Java servlets.
