I'd like to see some examples of organizations
that are re-distributing JFreeChart and/or JCommon
(along with their products or whatever).
Can any of you cite any?
Thanks,
Mike
Who is redistributing JFreeChart and/or JCommon?
Re: Who is redistributing JFreeChart and/or JCommon?
Hi Mike / All,
I know a lot of companies are using JFreeChart for internal servlet applications. As for redistribution, the list on the JFreeChart web page covers most of the ones I'm aware of (there are a few others I know about but without their permission I won't name them).
I would encourage anyone that has a product incorporating JFreeChart to post a message here describing what it is being used for.
Regards,
Dave Gilbert

Hi,
we are currently integrating JFreeChart in our PDFGenerator 2.0
PDFGenerator is a Java based tool that converts XML to PDF including Charts, Tables, Images, Acro Forms and a lot other nice PDF related features, you can take a look at our demo applications at www.cluster9.com

Re: Who is redistributing JFreeChart and/or JCommon?
Looking at the "Third Party Software Incorporating JFreeChart", I see a couple
problems at the end. The penultimate entry, <http://www.leanapps.com>,
gets redirected to <http://www.leanapps.com/en/css/leanapps.css>, which
returns a "404 Not Found". In the last entry I find no URL, but I do find a
company name. A Google search on the company name turns up some press
releases about a real-estate company by that name being bought
by another company (e.g., see <http://www.hmsk.com/press_template.asp?NewsID=925>).

Re: Who is redistributing JFreeChart and/or JCommon?
Hi Mike,
I will remove any entries that are out of date.
I just tried the LeanApps link and it is working for me, sort of. Their website has changed a lot since last time I looked at it, so I wonder if you caught them during a refresh? I followed the links through to their demo (in German and Dutch only at present) and got a 'connection refused' at that point. I'll try it again later.
For the other entry (BrokerMetrics) I was given only a screen shot, and permission to include it on the site. I guess they didn't want a link, for whatever reason.
Regards,
DG.
