Quality of Text in JPEG?

Post by Chris » Thu Jun 20, 2002 10:03 pm

Hi,

I've just started working with JFreeChart (0.91) and think it's really great so far. One thing I have noticed though is that the quality of the text (in labels and legend) in pie charts is not very good when printed. Is there a way to improve the quality of the text?

Thanks,

Chris

Although you mention JPEG as well as printing. If the quality problem is with image files you have saved in JPEG format, then that's one of the troubles with using JPEG. It is preferable to use PNG, a "lossless" format.
