to get the upper limit and lower limit of the horizontal tic

I'm using the version 8.1 of jfreechart to genrate stock charts in my web application.
can U suggest me how to get the lower limit and the upper limit
of the horizontal tick label axis .

here is the continuation.......
i'm having the time like(09:30,9:45) on the horizontal axis.
i'm using "second class" to get the time upto seconds precision
