Any problems with Unix?

I wanted to use JFreeChart on the unix environment. I have used couple of freewares for displaying charts through my application. But all of them have been giving problems when i port my application on to Unix though they work fine on NT.

Has anyone Has his application working on Unix?

Any advice would be appreciated
