can't use same task name is gantt?

Hi..all:

can't I use same task name in gantt chart??
when I use the same name in two or more tasks,all tasks will become just one task in the chart!!
anyone can help me to solve this problem?

The task name is used as a key to access the data values (start and end times) so the names must be unique.
