David: Thanks for replying to my previous posting "Bar chart linux env display issue". I have more info for this problem.
We use RHEL release 5.1 with 2.6.18-53.1.4.el5 kernel, Weblogic 10.0, jrockit 5.0-R27.6 (64bit). There are 4 legs in production. Right after the server rolling restart, all of the charts look good. After server restarts for 3 hours, the chart at leg-3 starts to display bad. After server restarts for 3.5 hours, the chart at leg-4 starts to display bad. After server restarts for 4 hours, the chart at leg-1 starts to display bad. Leg-2 is still OK after the server restarts for 7 hours. Once the chart starts the bad display it won’t go back to the good display anymore.
Here is the description and display of bad chart vs. good chart:
Bad bar chart category label do not align to right anymore, it aligned to left. The data area shifted to the left and overlapped with the left category label (Linux system). The bar chart displays perfectly in non-prod linux env.
1) In production, bad bar chart display like this:

2) In all other non-prod linux envs, it looks good, like this:

Anybody can tell me what's wrong in the system? Thanks a lot.

Do you get the same problem when you're not using the JRockit runtime? I have a vague recollection that it might be a bug in JRockit, but I'm not sure.

Thanks Kalle and David.
Unfortunately we have to use jrocket, since it is our company standard. We use jrockit81sp6_142_10 before and it was running fine with JFreeChart 1.0.9 for a year. A few months ago, we changed to jrockit 5.0-R27.6 (64bit), not sure if that is the cause. The weird thing is this happened 6 months after we upgrade jrocket to 5.0.
I have more info this morning. We did a stress test in our dev env. After 1.5 hour, the same problem happened in DEV. I plan to use the most current version of JFreeChart. Hopefully the problem will go away.
